8-24-09 update: Mr. Dean is in heaven now. Please pray for the entire Dean family to have peace and comfort. This battle was very hard for them to endure.

Below you will find the updated request from my friend Sheri for her father-in-law. This has been a long battle for their family - and much longer than the doctors expected... (The original request was: Cancer has spread into his bones - he has been given 2 months to live. Please pray for HEALING and STRENGTH and PEACE for him and his family - also for a direct REVELATION of TRUTH of God's love and will for healing.) I believe this has been up for a year or so. I want to say that I know this family would be elated to see a miraculous healing occur in Robert. We know that ALL things are possible with GOD and I ask you to pray accordingly. Michele~

Prayer Warriors,

I just wanted to send a quick update for those of you that have prayed for Rob's dad, Robert and those who are currently praying for him. Robert has been in the hospital since Monday (8-17). He is in a medically induced coma for pain and cannot communicate or eat. He has also been running a fever. The family is planning the funeral for anytime now. Rob and his family are all really having a hard time with this, not just the loss of a loved one but what Robert is going through and having to see him go through it. Rob did get to go to Texas on Wednesday and spend the night by his dad's bedside. The family is trying to have someone there every night so he isn't left alone.

Please continue to pray for grace, strength, mercy and the peace that passes all understanding while the storm rages! That the Dean's would feel the love and compassion of God in these trying days ( Phil 4:6-7 & Heb. 4:14-16) and that they would be surrounded by His presence where there is fulness of joy and where the hills melted like wax (Ps. 16:11, Ps. 97:5)! Please pray for me to have the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary (Is. 50:4).
