Whatever the devil can do to cause us to 'not' believe that Jesus defeated death - he will do. He is not really even after us when it comes right down to it - he comes to steal the word before it takes root in our hearts. He deceives many with the spirit of fear! Fear grips and causes us to worry and fret instead of standing on the truth and fighting back with our sword - the Word of God. If the devil could wipe out all of God's believing children, Jesus wouldn't have a 'body' left on earth to walk in His authority and carry out His will - or a bride waiting on His return - and he (satan) could overthrow the throne - so he thinks.... I don't know why he didn't 'get it' the first time around...he is a defeated foe!!! We have the victory - we fight FROM victory - we have been seated in heavenly places with Jesus!
Ephesians 2:4-6 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus!!!!!
