Daniel is a 13 year old boy diagnosed in January 2009 with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He had one round of chemo in February and then opted for alternative therapy. His parents were ordered by a judge today (May 15, 2009) to have an x-ray by Tuesday - and if it is 'not too late' he will be ordered to continue with chemo and radiation.
Let me say that I am NOT saying that I am in agreement with beliefs or methods that this family is using - HOWEVER - I DO BELIEVE that they have a RIGHT TO CHOOSE what kind of therapy they will use for their son. I do not think - unless they were doing nothing - or intentionally harming their son - that any court of law should step in and order them to go against their beliefs or choices of treatment. CHEMO IS TOXIC - that's all there is to it - it goes into the body and destroys good and bad cells. IT IS HARMFUL - and there are other methods to treat cancer - whether everyone agrees or not...there ARE other ways.
ONCE AGAIN - I am praying for the seemingly impossible... REGARDLESS OF RELIGION or METHODS of TREATMENT this family is choosing - I AM ASKING FOR 100% MANIFESTATION of HEALING IN HIS BODY to show up on the ordered x-rays. I AM ASKING YOU TO AGREE WITH ME IN PRAYER FOR THIS CHILD'S HEALING - I BELIEVE THAT GOD LOVES HIM AND WANTS HIM WELL - body, soul, and spirit!!! I ALSO PRAY THAT HIS FAMILY WILL BE ABSOLUTELY ASTOUNDED AND GIVE GOD GLORY THAT ONLY HE DESERVES!
**The most important thing is the SALVATION of this family. Dad - Mom - 8 kids. Oh, that the Lord would draw them to Himself - and put workers in their path to bring them in to His flock!
There is a difference in treatment and HEALING!
